The new policies, procedures and guidance for safeguarding children and young people from sexual exploitation are now avaiable and should replace all previous documents.
West Yorkshire policies, procedures and guidance for safeguarding children and young people from CSEWorking Together 2013
This guidance replaces Working Together to Safeguard Children (2010); The Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families (2000); and statutory guidance on making arrangements to safeguard and promote the welfare of children under section 11 of the Children Act 2004 (2007). Links to relevant supplementary guidance that professionals should consider alongside this guidance can be found at Appendix C of this guidance.The guidance will come into effect from 15 April 2013.

Revised CP plan
Everyone who works with children and young people in Calderdale wants to do their best to make sure that all children are safe and happy, and are supported as they grow up.
The Calderdale Safeguarding Children Board (CSCB) has been set up to enable all the key organisations to co-operate to safeguard children and promote their welfare. The Board does not take over the work from agencies, but it does ensure that services work together to make sure children and young people get the support they need when they need it.
There is lots of useful information on the CSCB website... but we want to make it even better. Over the next few months, we are going to redesign these pages. We'd love to hear from you if you have got any suggestions about the kind of information you'd like to see on this website. Just send us an email with information on what you would like the CSCB to contain and we'll do our best to reflect as many suggestions as we can.
