Each of the four sub-groups is composed of relevant managers and practitioners who can bring expertise and knowledge to a group. 

These groups report to the CSCB on a quarterly basis through the relevant Chair and be supported by the Safeguarding Manager and unit personnel.

The sub-groups are:

• Learning and Development
   
• Communication, Publicity and PR
   
• Protection from Abuse of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)
   
• Significant Harm
   
• Vulnerable Children
